2013 Web Tasarım Trendleri

Websites are living, vibrant environments and require continuous maintenance and development, but the most important critical point of changes in websites is not to lose user habits. It has become a need to renew websites from time to time in parallel with current web design trends without losing user habits and functionality. Especially in recent years, with the web design trend, which is expressed as Responsive Design and has no exact equivalent in Turkish, websites can be displayed appropriately on desktop computers, which are expressed as web desktop in tablet environments such as iPhone, Samsung S3 and other Android systems, iPad, Galaxy Tab.

With Responsive Design, you can view a website smoothly in both mobile and tablet environments. The design trend called "Clean Design", which has been popular in recent years, will continue to be popular in 2013. Unlike the old designs, simple interfaces, content-focused designs have become important for useful websites. In parallel with the principles of usability in websites, it is important for successful websites to consider the perception habits of users and to place the content from this point of view.

In 2013, another design trend that is likely to be popular is the design type called "Metro Style" applied by Microsoft in Windows 8 operating system. With this design, which has started to be used intensively especially in new era websites, the content is placed horizontally. In this design type, more text is used instead of too many graphics. Microsoft has created a serious usability team for its frequently criticised non-usable applications. Microsoft has been lagging behind in usability, which Apple has given the most importance for years, and it is likely that quality products will come out as a result of their investments in this field, and we think that the design trend we call Microsoft style will gain more importance in 2013.

Another growing trend will be the preference for Web-based mobile application development instead of native, that is, developing applications directly for iPhone or Android. Especially the difficulty of developing native applications and the need to develop separate applications for each platform is a serious manpower requirement for the IT world. In addition, the necessity of updating these applications again after the operating system updates on mobile devices is another reason for web-based mobile application preference. Companies create their mobile applications as web sites with the "make one and let it work everywhere logic".
