Türk Ticaret Kanununa Göre Web Sitesi Zorunluluğu

14 January 2011, the New Turkish Commercial Code has brought many innovations, the most important of these innovations is the obligation of companies to have a website, companies are legally obliged to have a website. The website of the companies should contain the announcements that they are legally required to make, the documents they are required to present to the public and shareholders, auditor reports, and board meetings and voting should also be held electronically. These mandatory contents, which are referred to as "Directed Messages", must be available on the website and kept up to date.

The website must have sections that are only for members and accessed by user name and password. The website, which is referred to in 42 places in the Law, has become a need as well as a legal obligation for companies. Customers often make purchasing decisions by looking at the websites of companies.

You can have your website made by any web design company, but the company or persons who make this website must know the Turkish Commercial Code and prepare the website in accordance with the legal legislation. In addition, the website should be prepared in accordance with customer needs beyond legal obligations. Haphazardly prepared and not updated websites can provide disadvantages to companies after a while instead of advantages. You can learn the features that should be on Web Sites from our article titled The Status of Our Web Sites is Bad.
